2 tablespoons finely chopped yellow onion
1 (16-ounce) package shredded coleslaw mix
1/4 cup German-style mustard
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
German-style mustard, a rich, spicy version of the condiment, adds just the right flavor to this picnic and barbecue favorite. Make this side dish ahead of time, but make sure to toss it well just before serving.

Put onions and coleslaw mix into a large bowl, toss to combine and set aside.
Put mustard, honey, lemon juice, celery seeds, salt and pepper in a small bowl and mix together with a fork.
Pour mustard mixture over coleslaw and toss gently to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Toss once more and serve.
